Basic computer skills help students who are blind or visually impaired access digital information, complete assignments, and use technology independently. Instruction focuses on foundational skills such as keyboarding, text editing, file management, and navigating digital environments. These skills provide the foundation for using assistive technology, accessing educational materials, communicating effectively, and participating successfully in school and everyday life.
