ECC Goal Bank

The Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) Goal Bank provides a collection of measurable IEP goals designed specifically for students who are blind or visually impaired. Because many essential skills are not acquired incidentally through vision, students often require direct instruction in areas such as compensatory skills, assistive technology, social interaction, independent living, orientation and mobility, self-determination, and career readiness. This goal bank helps vision professionals identify instructional priorities and develop meaningful, measurable goals that align with evaluation data, student strengths, and identified needs. Use the navigation menu to explore goal areas across the Expanded Core Curriculum and support the development of individualized, comprehensive IEPs.
