iOS devices, such as iPads and iPhones, provide powerful accessibility features that support students who are blind or visually impaired in accessing information, completing schoolwork, and communicating independently. Built-in accessibility tools, including VoiceOver and magnification features, allow students to interact with digital content using auditory and tactile feedback. Instruction focuses on helping students use iOS devices effectively as instructional tools. Students learn how to navigate their device, access accessibility features, use educational applications, and integrate their device into academic and daily routines. Developing proficiency with iOS devices supports independence, organization, and access to digital learning materials. iOS instruction helps students build the technology skills needed for academic success and lifelong independence.
