Encourage the student to develop their listening skills for literacy activities by helping them: attend to a story read or listening to a story on tape; recall details from a listening experience; sequence events from a listening experience; identify main idea from a listening experience; and summarize a story read or on tape. The following activities are fun ways to build listening skills.
