Whether you're a professional in the field of visual impairments or a parent searching for resources to learn more about your child's visual impairment, you will find several resources here. The following pages list books that will provide you with resources as well as books with characters who are blind or visually impaired.
There are many excellent resource books available specific to teaching students with visual impairments, many of which I have in my library! This page contains a list and description of some of these resource books.
Reading stories about characters that are blind or visually impaired can help a student feel that they are not alone and see how others dealt with issues related to being visually impaired or blind.
