The following apps assist with note taking. The apps that you will find here are those that I have used myself, or have seen featured in conferences. Within these pages are a listing of just some of the apps that are either great for use with students with visual impairments OR have been developed specifically for persons who are blind or have low vision.
Text to Speech Apps

Dictate your message, and Dragon types it out on the screen with Dragon Anywhere. Your options for delivery of this message include text message, email, copy-and-paste, facebook, and twitter. ![]() Free. Evernote is an easy to use app that helps you remember everything across all of the devices you use. It lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, and record voice reminders.

Picture accuracy is faciliated by a Field of View Report, Automatic Page Detection, and Tilt Control. This presentation will encompass the process and steps of selecting the right assistive technology for students who are blind or visually impaired using the SETT framework.
